Tracking links
One link, and every click accounted for.
A tracking link is how a campaign knows the traffic came from you. affiliate.love builds each one at approval, not on request. You copy it, tag it, and start buying. Attribution is the part you should never have to argue about.
Four parts
What each piece of the link does.
Read it once and the whole report makes sense. Two parts are set by us. Two are yours to shape. Nothing else needs to change.
-
01
Campaign ID
Names the offer you are sending traffic to.
It is fixed. Change it and the click lands on the wrong brief.
-
02
Publisher ID
Names your account, so the earning lands with you.
It is issued once, at approval, and never rotates.
-
03
Click ID
A unique code minted for each click on your link.
It is the thread that ties a sale back to one visit.
-
04
Sub IDs
Five open slots you fill with your own labels.
Creative, placement, audience — whatever you want to read later.
Click to credit
How a click turns into a paid row.
Four moves, and you can see all of them. When a sale is missing, the stage it stalled in tells you where to look. That is the whole point of clean tracking.

You build the link
Open a campaign, copy the base link, then add your sub ID labels.
-
A click is stamped
We mint a click ID and pass it on. The user lands on the advertiser page.
-
The advertiser posts back
A postback is a quiet server message. It says the click ID converted.
-
The row appears
Your report shows the sale under the exact sub IDs you set.
Before you spend
Test the link first. It takes a minute.
Most disputes we see start with an untested link. Run these four checks before the first dollar of media goes out.
- Open it yourself
- Click your own link once. You should land on the advertiser page fast, with no warning screen.
- Watch the redirect
- A redirect is the hop through our server. It should be one hop, not a chain of three.
- Read the test row
- Your report logs that click within moments. If nothing shows, the link is wrong.
- Check your labels
- Confirm each sub ID reads back the way you typed it. Fix casing before you scale spend.
Placement rules sit on our compliance page. Approval order sits on how approval works.
Common questions
Five things buyers ask about tracking.
Can I use one link across many channels?
Yes. Keep the base link and change the sub IDs per channel. Your report then splits the same campaign by source.
What if a conversion never posts back?
Send us the campaign and the day. We read the log with the advertiser. Proven sales are added back to your balance.
Do sub IDs have rules?
Keep them short and plain. Letters, numbers and dashes read best. Spaces and odd symbols can break in some ad tools.
How long does a click stay valid?
Each brief names its own window. It sits with the payout terms, so you see it before you promote the offer.
When does a tracked sale get paid?
After the hold period ends. A hold guards against refunds. Dates live on the payment schedule.
