Acceptable Use Policy

The conduct required of everyone using affiliate.love, and what happens when it is not met.

Last updated

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who accesses affiliate.love — publishers, advertisers, agencies and visitors — and to every campaign, tracking link, creative and communication sent through the network.

It sits alongside our terms of service and the campaign guidelines. Where the campaign guidelines set out what traffic methods a specific vertical accepts, this policy sets the conduct floor that applies regardless of vertical.

2. Prohibited activity

You may not generate impressions, clicks, leads or conversions by artificial means. That includes automated scripts, bot networks, emulators, proxy farms, click injection and any technique whose purpose is to produce activity a real person did not perform.

You may not bid on an advertiser's brand names, trademarks or domain misspellings in paid search unless the campaign brief grants it in writing. You may not use cookie stuffing, forced redirects, click-under scripts, hidden iframes, adware or browser extensions that inject affiliate parameters without the user's knowledge.

You may not send unsolicited bulk email or SMS, spam forums or communities, or misrepresent the sender of any message that carries our links.

3. Content and creative standards

Creatives must describe the advertiser's product accurately at the moment they run. Pricing, features, availability and eligibility must match the advertiser's own landing page. Claims the advertiser has not published — outcome guarantees, earnings figures, accreditation, celebrity endorsement — may not be added by a publisher.

You may not place our links alongside adult content, content that promotes hatred or violence, content that infringes third-party rights, or content prohibited by the law of the market you are targeting.

4. Data and privacy obligations

Personal data collected through any campaign must be gathered lawfully, with the consent or other lawful basis the applicable regime requires, and must be used only for the purpose disclosed to the person at the point of collection.

Email traffic must be sent to permission-based lists only. You must honour unsubscribe requests promptly and keep evidence of consent available if we ask for it.

5. Account and platform security

Your account credentials are yours alone. You are responsible for activity carried out under them, and you must tell us as soon as you suspect they have been compromised.

You may not attempt to probe, scan or interfere with the platform's infrastructure, circumvent access controls, or extract data from the marketplace by automated means outside the interfaces we provide.

6. Enforcement

Breaches are handled through the escalation path published in our campaign guidelines: campaign pause and written notice, invalidation of the affected conversions, and — for severe, fraudulent or repeated breaches — permanent termination of the account.

We may suspend access immediately and without prior notice where we believe activity is fraudulent, unlawful, or is causing active harm to an advertiser or to other publishers.

7. Reporting a breach

If you believe activity on the network breaches this policy, write to our compliance team with the campaign, the placement and anything that helps us reproduce what you saw. Reports are reviewed by a person, and we will confirm receipt.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy as regulation and industry practice move. Material changes are announced to active publishers and advertisers before they take effect, and the revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

Questions about this policy, or reporting a breach? Write to [email protected]. The operational rules for each vertical live in the campaign guidelines, and the contractual terms in the terms of service.
